Frequently Asked Questions

This page is designed to answer the most common questions brides have when planning their wedding day beauty. These details will help you understand how services are structured, what to expect, and how to prepare for a smooth, well-organized experience.

If something you’re wondering about isn’t covered here, you’re always welcome to reach out. Thoughtful communication is part of the service.

How long does the makeup application take?
For adult attendants, makeup is scheduled for 45 minutes per person. The bride is allotted 60 minutes.

Are touch ups included?
Each person receives a complimentary touch-up kit at the end of their service. If you would like me to remain on-site for bride touch-ups, this is available at an hourly rate.

Do you have a team for larger parties?
I work independently and can accommodate up to five people on my own. For larger bridal parties, additional artists can be added to ensure everyone is ready on time.

Is a preview (trial) appointment necessary?
A preview appointment is recommended 2-3 months before your wedding. This allows us to finalize your look while keeping it fresh in mind. Scheduling this appointment is the bride’s responsibility.

Are false lashes included?
Yes. Complimentary strip lashes are included with every makeup application. Individual lashes are available for an additional $35. There is no price adjustment if lashes are declined.

Do you travel, and is there an additional fee?
Yes, I travel both locally and nationally. Travel within a 20-mile radius of Cincinnati is included. Beyond that, a round-trip mileage rate of $0.70 per mile applies.

Will you work in multiple room settings in one day?
A $100 relocation fee for each move, in addition to a mileage rate of $0.70 per mile per artist, applies when services require moving to multiple locations or returning to the same location more than once in a day. This fee covers packing and relocating the full makeup workstation, including chair, lighting, kit, and travel case, as well as adjustments made to accommodate other vendors such as photographers or videographers.

Is airbrush makeup available?
Yes, airbrush makeup is available for the bride and bridal party. If your skin type is better suited for traditional makeup, I will advise you during consultation or on the wedding day. There are specific skin types for which airbrush is not recommended.

Do you provide hair services or partner with hairstylists?
I partner with trusted hairstylists I have worked alongside for many years. These are experienced professionals who understand wedding-day structure, timing, and the level of care required for formal events.

Can you help create a wedding day beauty timeline?
Yes. The “getting ready” schedule is a critical part of the day and is created 2-4 weeks before the wedding. A detailed timeline is shared with you and your wedding coordinator to ensure a smooth morning.

What’s the difference between the artists arrival time and start time?
Upon arrival, 30 minutes is required to set up the workstation. This space must be well-lit and include access to a window. Once setup is complete, services begin immediately; and that is the start time.

How far in advance should I book your services?
Booking 6-12 months in advance is recommended, especially if you plan to schedule a preview appointment. Early booking ensures availability and allows for proper preparation.

Do you offer additional services?
Yes. In addition to wedding day services, I am available for engagement photos, boudoir sessions, and rehearsal dinners. These appointments may be scheduled online.

Do you offer discounts?
Yes. Brides who are members of the "Glam & Go" Membership Program receive a 25% discount on all bridal services.

What is your policy on being late?
Timeliness are essential to a smooth wedding morning. A $25 fee applies for every 15-minute delay after the scheduled arrival or start time. If a delay of up to one hour prevents services from beginning, the contract will be terminated, services canceled, and the booking will be considered a no-show.

Do you require a deposit to secure the date?
Yes. A 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due three weeks before the wedding. For balances over $900, payment may be split into three installments instead of two.
