Yes, a minimum is required in order to reserve wedding day services, and it helps ensure proper time is dedicated to your appointment.

Here's how the minimum applies depending on your situation:

Is there a minimum required for day of services?

  • If you're the only one receiving makeup services, the minimum balance required is $350.

    If you choose to add additional people later, there will be a deadline provided for when those changes can be made. This ensures the schedule remains organized and your day runs smoothly.

  • To reserve your date, the booking minimum for on-location services require a starting balance of $250 for makeup and $250 (totaling $500) for adding hair. In-studio services do not have a minimum. Bride-only options are noted below.

    If makeup for the bride is not needed and services are only for the bridal party, family members, or guests, the same minimum applies.

Do you travel or provide on-location services?

Yes, makeup services are available both on-location and in-studio exclusively for brides. This gives you the flexibility to choose what best fits your comfort, timeline, and overall getting-ready experience.

Here's how each option works depending on your needs:

  • Makeup services are available for weddings throughout Cincinnati, Dayton, Northern Kentucky, and destination locations. A travel fee may apply based on mileage or location. On-location services are ideal for bridal parties or larger groups.

  • Prefer something more private? In-studio makeup is available for bride-only services by appointment at a professional makeup studio in Cincinnati.

Is a bridal preview (trial) required?

No, a bridal preview appointment is not required, but it’s highly recommended. To ensure your wedding day look is exactly how you envision it.

Here's how it works depending on your booking status:

  • Not ready to book yet? You’re welcome to schedule a standalone preview appointment at bridal.chenesebean.com/preview-appointment to experience the service first.

    However, during this wait period, another bride or non-bridal client may book services at a moment’s notice, which could result in your date becoming unavailable.

    If you decide to move forward after this appointment, your wedding date can be reserved pending availability.

  • Once the wedding is booked, this appointment can be scheduled by the bride bridal.chenesebean.com/preview-appointment 2–3 months before the big day. This gives us time to finalize your bridal look, address any updates, and ensure you feel confident and beautiful.

    This means your wedding date is secure and you're free to schedule the preview appointment at any time.
