With a makeup career that began in 1997, elopement bridal services are shaped by decades of real-world experience, not trends or shortcuts.

These professional techniques are thoughtfully blended into bridal makeup so your look translates beautifully in person and on camera, whether you’re exchanging vows at the courthouse, in a park, at a boutique venue, or during a destination elopement departing from Ohio.
For elopements that include hair services, Chenese partners with trusted, experienced hairstylists she has worked alongside for years. For small groups or extended timelines, additional artists can be arranged as needed, allowing your morning to remain relaxed and unrushed.
Both in-studio and on-location elopement services are available, giving each bride the freedom to choose what best aligns with her plans. Whether your ceremony is private or shared with a small circle of loved ones, your beauty experience will be handled with the same level of professionalism and care as any traditional wedding.

Bridal makeup packages are curated experiences and are offered as-is. Services within a package cannot be removed, substituted, or adjusted. Packages are not calculated from individual services and are not subject to re-pricing.
Anything outside package pricing is considered an “add-on”.

Bridal preview (trial) appointments are a standalone service and do not guarantee wedding date availability. Preview appointments are non-refundable and do not apply toward bridal package pricing unless a bridal package that includes a preview is booked within 7 days.

Client portal access centralizes online & digital data between the bride/client and Chenese Bean Makeup Artistry. Administrative services (sometimes referred to as secretarial work) include the behind-the-scenes communication and coordination that support your bridal makeup services. This support begins with our first interaction and continues throughout the planning process. All administrative services are provided during regular business hours with a standard response time of 1-2 days.

To keep all information organized and properly documented, important communication is handled via email and the client portal. Text messaging is reserved for brief, time-sensitive communication only, such as quick updates or wedding-day needs. Long or detailed messages sent via text may be redirected to email for proper follow-up.
Social media private messages are not used for client communication, including questions, updates, or service changes, as they cannot be properly tracked.
This approach ensures clear communication, accurate record-keeping, and a smooth planning experience for everyone involved.
Bride Hair
For elopements that include hair services, Chenese partners with trusted, experienced hairstylists throughout Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, and Northern Kentucky. These are professionals she has known and worked alongside for years, allowing for a calm, welcoming, and professional experience on your elopement day. Together, the team works seamlessly and efficiently to bring each bride’s vision to life, ensuring hairstyles that hold beautifully and photograph effortlessly, even within a shorter, more intimate timeline.
Blowout services may be available depending on the assigned hairstylist. Additional fees may apply.
Hair services are offered as an add-on to elopement makeup services.
Preview (Trial) Appointment: $150*
Experience a full dry-styling session designed for elopement and intimate wedding timelines. This appointment allows you to see how your style will hold, how accessories such as veils, headpieces, or hair jewelry will be placed, and how your chosen look complements your dress and makeup. The stylist you work with during your preview will be the same stylist providing services on your elopement day.
Wedding Day: In-Studio $160* / On-Location $250*
Personalized dry hairstyling tailored to your desired look. Includes veil, headpiece, floral, or accessory placement. Service includes on-site styling and a hair touch-up kit.
The stylist you work with during your preview will be the same stylist providing your services on your elopement day.
*Additional fees may apply for Glam or Hollywood waves, hair extensions, clip-ins, sew-in weaves, and wig installs. Hair coloring, hair cutting, and other salon-based services must be scheduled separately with the hairstylist.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Booking Minimum: On-location services require a minimum booking balance of $250 for makeup or $500 for makeup & hair. In-studio services do not have a minimum. Bride-only options are available.
Price Quote: All quotes are valid for 7 business days. Bookings are on a first come, first serve basis.
Book Your Date: A non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required. The remaining balance must be paid in full 3 weeks before the wedding date. For balances over $900, 3-pay payment plans are available upon request.
Makeup Application Timing: Bride 60 minutes, Adults 45 minutes each, Teens 30 minutes each and Flower Girls 15 minutes for two. 5-10 minutes will be included to clean & sanitize the artists workstation after each persons makeup is complete.
Touch-ups: Individual touch-up kits will be provided at the end of each service (makeup & hair). When provided by a makeup artist, the rate is $125 per hour.
Payments: Once the retainer has been paid with a contract on file, an invoice will be sent to you for the final payment. The final payment is due no later than 4 weeks before the wedding. Payments can be made by cash or major credit card. Money orders, cashiers checks, certified checks and personal checks are NOT accepted.
Client Portal Access: Our secure client portal offers brides 24/7 access to contracts, invoices, and payment options. Stay organized, manage schedules, and enjoy a stress-free experience with everything you need in one convenient place.
Account Changes:
In the event additional people may need to be added after booking, please email this adjustment 90 days prior to the wedding/event date. If an additional artist is needed, his/her availability is limited and may not be available at moments notice.
Only one person (bridesmaid, mom, etc) can be deducted. If more, the client can make people substitutions or a gift card will be submitted to be used at a later date.
Late Fees:
Invoices: There's a $15 fee on past due invoices.
Wedding Day Tardiness: A fee of $25 will be charged every 15 minutes the artist and/or stylist has to wait for the client, bride, bridal party and anyone being serviced (or to be let inside the "getting ready" location) when running late against the scheduled time of arrival and start time. If the makeup artist and/or hairstylist has been waiting around for 1 hour wedding day services are immediately cancelled.
Early Morning Fees: An additional $50 applies per artist and stylist for all services and appointments before 8am. And $100 per artist and stylist before 7am. Except for those in our "Glam & Go" Membership Program.
Holidays: An additional fee of $150 applies for appointments and weddings on a Federal Holiday. New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
Mileage: There is no mileage rate within the Cincinnati area. When traveling outside of the 45237 area (office address), 20 miles or more. Or when traveling to multiple locations in one day, a mileage rate of $0.70 per mile applies.
Relocating Workstation: A $100 fee per artist will be added when needing to unpack/pack makeup kit, tools & equipment in order to move to a different area, room or address in one day. Along with a mileage rate of $0.70 per mile when travel between multiple addresses.
Business Hours: Phone calls, text messages and emails have 24-48 hours response time. Held during business hours 9:30am-7:30pm Monday-Saturday; 9:00am-5:30pm Sunday. Anything received during the weekend (busiest time) will be addressed the following Monday.
Cancelling Services:
The client (bride or person of contact) may cancel services at any time. This request must be submitted to info@chenesebean.com by the bride or client only. You will forfeit any and all retainers and/or payments made. If you cancel 3 months or less of the wedding date, the remaining total (final balance) is due as the cancellation fee. A "Cancellation of Services" agreement must be signed to close the account.
In the event that Chenese Bean is unable to perform services for any reason including but not limited to sickness, accident, weather, etc., reasonable accommodations shall be made by finding a trusted and qualified replacement. If not, a full refund of the retainer will be submitted.
Availability is on a first come, first served basis. Additional Terms & Conditions will be listed on the contract. Rates are subject to change without notice. Only contracted rates will be honored.
