The sky’s the limit for these two!¬† Talk about a cute couple that fit perfectly together.¬† I was so touched by the best man and grooms men speech at their reception.¬† There were many grasping for tissues.
A few months ago I blogged about Nicole & Tony regarding their engagement shoot, click here.  And now a few wedding photos provided by Sherri Barber Photography who again did a spectacular job as always!!
The wedding took place at Christ The King Church¬†organized by the lovely team from Cincy Event Planning (did you know Lindsey was¬†a¬†CBMA bride a few years ago and so was her sister after that?!)¬† Okay back to Nicole… all 12 bridesmaids dress’ came from the ever so popular¬†Two Birds Bridemaid, talk about cute.¬†¬†¬†¬†
Products¬†used on Nicole were by MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown & NARS.¬†¬†Eyes: NARS “Penelope”, MAC “Scene, Vex & Carbon”¬†¬† Cheeks: MAC¬† blush “Gingerly”¬†& Bobbi Brown “Rose” shimmer brick¬†¬† Lips:¬† MAC “Soar” lip pencil and “Sublime Shine” dazzleglass
But first primed her skin with Makeup Forever HD high definition primer for the face and Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion (both found at Sephora).  Followed by waterproof airbrush foundation by KETT Cosmetics.  Which held up exceptionally well on their rainy day!
Nicole recieved the Stunning Bride package in which not only did I come to her at The Cincinnatian Hotel but stayed with her thru-out the wedding ceremony until a portion of their indoor & outdoor tented reception at The Barn.
Here¬†you see us at the reception off in a¬†corner doing a quick touch up and lip color change to MAC Cosmetics “Hush Hush Rose”

Please forgive me for just now posting a blog update.¬† Things have been very busy¬†and I’ve felt so bad for not keeping you up to date as to what’s been going on.¬†¬†Okay onto the good stuff!
Meet Julie (married a few weeks ago) who requested to have a beautiful dark smokey eye  and talk about a glam look fit for a queen.  We actually repeated the look from her trial run with a few slight changes for the wedding day.
Waterproof makeup (airbrushing included) is always my first choice for brides no matter what and being that the entire bridal party got caught in the rain while on the Purple People Bridge is why it’s so important… could you believe they got rained on?¬† As you can see in the wonderful photos by Mandy Paige Photography the¬†gloomy weather¬†didn’t last long.
Julie & John outside on Garfield Place a few moments before the rain.
Daddy’s girl!¬† Julie & her dad (below) having a moment before the wedding!

Engagement photos display the beginning of a union that’s¬†an intimate and beautiful.¬†¬†I’m always in awe in how photographers capture such lovely moments.¬† These photos show the style and characteristics of the couple illustrating each persons¬†fashion sense (from comfortable to trendy),¬†kissing, laughing, running, ¬†etc.¬† all while the two are in their¬†comfort zone at popular locations picked out by the photographer.
Whenever a bride schedules her trial run (consultation) with me on the day of her engagement photo session I make sure to not hold back in making her beautiful!¬† The makeup isn’t done to resemble what she’ll look like on her wedding day, but more to tie into the theme of their engagement session¬†(unless she requests it)
The couple you see is Nicole & Tony…aren’t they cute?¬† Tony is¬†owner of Ramundo’s Pizza in Mt. Lookout, with photography¬†done by the ever so talented Sherri Barber

Well all love babies!¬† Especially newborns.¬†¬†On March 11, 2010 we welcomed the newest addition to our family,¬†my¬†nephew “Tylen”,¬†5 lbs. 14 oz.,¬†isn’t he adorable?¬† I’m so happy for my sister, congratulations love.¬† In hospital photos were taken by Baby Bella Photography
While on the subject of babies, below were a few maternity photos where one of my 2008 brides had me make her beautiful for her maternity photo shoot with Mam Luft Studios
Back in the summer I had the liberty in working on the set of a bridal gown commercial and here’s one of the many clips created. We had a blast and the weather was ridiculously hot! Although the models looked amazing, the heat took it’s toll on us crew members. But we managed to still have fun, laugh and crack jokes the entire time.
There was even a point during the day where I had to do makeup in a “moving trailer”, driving around the Hyde Park area & Alt Park and back… talk about funny!
Okay¬†yet this¬†week we had another snow day leaving many of us stuck in the house (again), and according to the news we may have another. So while your taking advantage of taking cat naps, spending time on social media sites, catching up on emails etc. take a few quick seconds to do that one thing that’s quick & easy to cure that one constant thing we all suffer from during¬†the winter months…dry chapped lips!
Apply a thick amount of Vaseline to cover your lips, take your warm wash cloth (or toothbrush) and gently rub back & forth. But be sure not to scrub to hard using the toothbrush, so that your lips don’t bleed.
Once done, pat your lips dry and apply lip balm of your choice.
On 10/24/09¬†Ashley Brill and Brian Roeding tied the knot at the beautiful St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica in Covington, KY.¬† And¬†beautiful it was!¬† And a few vendors from the¬†Wedding Mafia¬†(myself included) didn’t hold back in giving Ashley nothing but the best.¬†
Every detail was coordinated by Kathy Piech-Lucas and her go to assistant, kept this bride right on schedule.  And Jessica from Images By Daniel Michael & Lifetime Video to capture it all gave red carpet treatment.
Even though I was full of emotions this day due to me missing my BFF’s wedding, I had to pull it together and I couldn’t let that affect the service that Ashley deserved, I even hung out with her in the limo before the wedding started doing girl talk to help ease her nerves (and mine). LOL¬† Below is Ashley’s wonderful email:
Chenese,¬†I just want to thank you again for being there to make me beautiful on my wedding day.¬† I know it was also your best friend’s wedding day and I can’t imagine being put in that situation.¬† I so appreciate you sticking by our contract but would’ve understood if you couldn’t.¬†¬†You being there for me, considering the circumstances, showed¬†professionalism and unbelievable commitment to your brides and what you do.¬† I thank you so very much for making me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt and for taking my groom’s breath away!¬† Best wishes and many thanks,¬† Ashley¬†R.
