The past few weeks have a been a hit hectic, but that’s part of life right? …right!  But today has been a good one thus far, especially when my portfolio arrived.

Talk about excited, this 20 page bound book illustrates the top fave photos from various photo shoots I’ve worked on, being from catalogs, fashion shoots, magazines, etc.  A bridal version is soon to come.

This book will only be distributed to various photographers, talent agencies, art directors and various people in the industry thru out Ohio, New York, Florida and abroad (hey you’ll never know who may come across this).  Because let’s be honest, I don’t just work in Cincinnati!!

Our blog posts have experienced a few difficulties in viewing and is under construction!  However the remainder of our bridal site is in full access for you to view and contact us on.

We also apologize for our websites being down with no ability to send/recieve emails, due to no fault of our own.   And had to utilize facebook for a while.

I know surprised huh!   I can’t believe it myself but we all need a few days off to recoup and enjoy life.  I’m a work-aholic and it shows.

Therefore I will be out on vacation August 6-8th, returning August 9th with my brushes ready to work.  Phone calls and email replies by me personally are limited however Tiffany will still be available.

Last month I had the liberty in working with the lovely & ever so talented Althea Harper from Project Runway (season 6).  And yes that’s her in the makeup chair!  By special thanks to publicist Michelle Slaughter.

Althea’s designs were on display at the beautifully made Paris J Boutique, and what a crowd it was!  I was so amazed as to those in attendance.  All excited to meet Ms. Harper (especially my daughter who couldn’t stop smiling).

While I was setting up I heard a very familiar voice by surprise, glad to know one of my favorite photographers Sherri Barber there to do her thing.  She captured some amazing shots that night while wearing the cutest white strapless jumper, which she purchased from the boutique prior to the event, OMG was it cute!

But I can’t go without saying you must stop by the boutique, located at 9797 Montgomery Road.  A girls play ground for sure.  Shoes, dresses, jeans, accessories, etc. (and yall know I love shoes!)  The staff was so glamours and eager to meet and cater to everyone’s needs.

Be sure to look for Althea’s designs in several boutiques across Ohio and world-wide, including Paris J Boutique this fall….congratulations Althea!  And kudos to Amy Storer-Scalia and her Cincy Chic staff for spreading the word about this fabulous event.  What an awesome turn-out.

And I can’t forget to give a big thank you to the owner of the boutique, Teresa Washington.  For allow us to be celebrate with you.  (Teresa was also a CBMA bride in 2009, click here to read about her wedding)

There are tons of amazing hair stylists in the area, and what bride doesn’t love it more when her stylist can come to her on the wedding day.  Which leads me to introduce you to Karis Riley, who will do just that.

Karis has been a hairstylist since 2008, she once worked at Regis and is currently located at Ulta.  But her ambition and talent surpasses all of that.  But not only that, she specializes in being a mobile.  She’ll come to you no matter what.  Here’s a few photo’s from her last wedding with photographer Sandra Reed that took place in Hilton Head this past March.

I’m pleased to announce that we now have a new addition to the family!!  Please join me in welcoming our new “bridal assistant” who will be responding to emails & phone calls in addition to myself… Tiffany Mason.

A native of Atlanta, GA who now resides in the Tri-State area is a graduate of University of Cincinnati with a degree in Psychology and Organizational Leadership with an emphasis on Employment Law.

She recently stepped away from “corporate America” to pursue her passions in artistry in addition to mentorship for young ladies ages 12-18 utilizing her work experience and education to further those passions.  She lives in West Chester with her husband and five children.

Somethings in the water!!!¬† From discovering surprise pregnancies to having dreams¬†about a few people (friends, family and even past clients) being pregnant, it’s actually had me asking myself “what’s up with that?”¬† LOL¬†

A¬†month ago I had the liberty in being¬†invited by Samantha who I’ve worked with in the past on several swimsuit calendar photo shoots for the Cincinnati Bengals Cheerleaders (photo¬†below), to assist her on¬†her very own maternity shoot.

Sam was recently married about 8-9 months ago…and when she shared her story with me about her pregnancy as a newlywed I thought oh how cute.¬† These maternity magazine type pics were taken by one of my¬†favorite photographers,¬†Kortnee Miller.¬† I wish my body looked like this when I was pregnant 16 years ago.¬† Thanks Sam for inviting me!!

The sky’s the limit for these two!¬† Talk about a cute couple that fit perfectly together.¬† I was so touched by the best man and grooms men speech at their reception.¬† There were many grasping for tissues.

The wedding took place at Christ The King Church¬†organized by the lovely team from Cincy Event Planning (did you know Lindsey was¬†a¬†CBMA bride a few years ago and so was her sister after that?!)¬† Okay back to Nicole… all 12 bridesmaids dress’ came from the ever so popular¬†Two Birds Bridemaid, talk about cute.¬†¬†¬†¬†

Products¬†used on Nicole were by MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown & NARS.¬†¬†Eyes: NARS “Penelope”, MAC “Scene, Vex & Carbon”¬†¬† Cheeks: MAC¬† blush “Gingerly”¬†& Bobbi Brown “Rose” shimmer brick¬†¬† Lips:¬† MAC “Soar” lip pencil and “Sublime Shine” dazzleglass

But first primed her skin with Makeup Forever HD high definition primer for the face and Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion (both found at Sephora).  Followed by waterproof airbrush foundation by KETT Cosmetics.  Which held up exceptionally well on their rainy day!

Nicole recieved the Stunning Bride package in which not only did I come to her at The Cincinnatian Hotel but stayed with her thru-out the wedding ceremony until a portion of their indoor & outdoor tented reception at The Barn.
